Glossy Box Update - January Edition

Oh I do love this box it's always a winner in my eyes. As always I get to discover lots of new exciting and interesting brands some of which are a complete favourite some of which I could really live without or just a staple I always have so gathers dust

Unani Dermo Defense Face Mask - £11.36
I used this a fair few times it was nice and hydrating which in the winter is perfect. I have really spot prone and sensitive skin on my face and this was lovely to use, I didn't break out after use which normally happens. I'm still not 100% on the skincare protection it provides as it states on the bottle but I did see an improvement in how my skin appeared. You can use it as a treatment too which I did a couple of times but I didn't really rate it for treatment use so would repurchase this for masks as you really can't beat one on a weekend whilst munching on rubbish watching a film

Teeez Cosmetics Oasis Gem Lipstick - £11.93
I'm still unsure on this product if I am completely honest, it's the finish of it I keep umm'ing and ahh'ing about. I am going to be having a full review on this lipstick coming up soon so I will be continuing to use it and will give my final opinion on that post so come back for that soon!

Angele Paris Nail Lacquer - £6.32
I can live without this product I am not going to lie. I haven't tried this yet as I already have some red polishes open so no point opening another one for it to dry out. I have had a look at reviews on this polish online and it does appear to have good staying power and the colour is extremely opaque so once I do go though my reds I will wear this but I am just in no urgent hurry

Glossy Box Eyeshadow - £7.10
Argh I was so disappointed in this product!!! It was a massive let down for me, for starters I swatched it on the back of my hand and the packaging broke straight away so now I can even put it in my make up bag as it will shatter the powder when I'm on the move. When glossy box are charging over £7 for a single shadow I do expect a certain quality in packaging! Also it is so sheer when it's first applied it just was not flattering, However it is not all doom and gloom, once you spray a bit of setting spray or splash of water on the brush you do get a beautiful colour which you can actually see on your eye lids. It does have fairly good staying power too

Madara Cellular Repair Serum - £38
I feel like this product was wasted on me at the moment. I can not see much difference to when I use it and when I don't. It is a fantastic sample size so I am still using it. Although I can not see a different I do like having a serum in my morning/evening routine as it makes me feel especially pampered. I do need to use a few more serums to compare as I have never used one I just don't know what to expect from them. I wouldn't repurchase this particular one as I can not justify £38 on a product I can't see a different in when I use it but I would happily go out and buy a cheaper one so any recommendations are welcome
