Glossy Box February Edition : First Thoughts

It looks like Glossy Box has delivered again, such a good box for the price! I have yet again 4 full size item and 1 deluxe size which to be fair looks like it could be full size! So glad I got rid of Birch Box, I might try it again in the future if I hear that it has improved

Nicka K New York 24h Waterproof Eyeliner - £3.99
Colour : Dark Brown
I've heard a lot of hype over these eye liners lately but never actually came across one until this box! I like the fact it isn't your typical black but actually a dark brown for the times where you want a more softer look. It looks really pigmented from the quick back of the hand swatch and also it comes with a smudger built in to the top of the pencil to create a smoky eye look however I really struggled to smudge it on the hand, it kind of actually hurt so I don't know how I feel trying that on my eyes! There is a handy built in sharpener too which is one thing I absolutely love the idea of as I normally hate the fact mechanical pencils snap so easily and you can't get a sharp defining line.

MUA Power Pout Glaze Low Voltage Gloss - £3.50
Colour : Serenity
I normally get my MUA products in Superdrug and have to say I have never seen this lip gloss before? That could be because I wasn't really looking for it though. I hate the applicator already just by looking at it! I am not a fan of the products with the built in brushes, to me its just a pain to clean then you get cleaner in the products and it's just a whole load of effort! I do like how it is a sheer gloss so would look nice over a few lipsticks I own especially in the centre of the lips. The smell though is horrible, I don't know how long I would last wearing this and if you don't like sticky gloss I would stay away from this

The Vintage Cosmetic Company Floral Slanted Tweezers - £8
How pretty are these! They seem sturdy to use but I honestly don't know if they will draw me away from my Tweezerman's and they are only a couple of quid more! I will put these to the test this month when I next need to and will be back with how they were

Naobay Protective Hair Mask Volume Conditioner - £11
This is classed as a luxury sized sample, but it is huge!! It is 200 ml and the full size is only 250ml so it is such a generous size. I love Naobay I have used a few of their products I like the brands ethics and what they stand for. There packaging is amazing too the full size has a wooden lid and its all recycled. It smells lovely and has Shea Butter & Argan Oil in. I am really bad at scents and even the other half can't figure out what it smells like, we're thinking ginger but could be completely wrong ha! I'm going to try use this a couple of times this month as my scalp which has been overly sensitive and painful is slowly getting better so having a product based on all natural and organic ingredients should be ok, fingers crossed!

Wilkinson Sword Hydro Silk Razor - £9.99
This could not of come at a better time really, I have been meaning to pick up a new razor as I am just so fed up with my current one. I use the Gillette Venus with the Olay Shave Bars however as much as I like the close shave I get with them, the bars just do not last at all and I'm spending loads on replacing them. I have heard good things about the Wilkinson Sword blades and looking forward to trying this out. Although with a massive baby bump in the way it is a job for the other half to get the legs sorted! It has water activated moisturising serum at the top and bottom of the 5 blades which helps keep your legs hydrated after shaving so we shall see if this is any good
